ABOUT AARON ANDU
Mr. Aaron Lawal Abiola Andu, passed away unexpectedly April 13, 2020 at the age of 27. Aaron was born September 11, 1992 in Kennesaw, Georgia.
He attended the public schools of Cherokee County and was a proud student of Etowah High School, where he graduated with honors. Aaron was also a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., initiated into the Alpha Xi Chapter in Spring 2014.
Aaron loved to achieve, succeed and live each day to the absolute fullest. His personal philosophy was:
"You are the books you read, the movies you watch, the music you listen to, the people you spend time with, the conversations you engage in. Choose wisely what you feed your mind." (@thinkgrowprosper)
One of Aaron's schoolteachers shared these fond memories:
"Aaron was a young man who didn't compromise his values, who was consistent in his respect, friendships, thinking and unique wit. How I loved his presence in my classroom -- his thinking was fresh and brilliant, beyond his age. Most of all I remember his smile as he entered the room."
This memorial scholarship founded in his name aims to raise funds annually that will help students with the same ambition, the same goals, and the same path to success as Aaron.
